IMPLEMENTATION OF QUR'AN MEMORIZATION ACTIVITIES AT MAN 2 PALEMBANG

This study aimed to determine the implementation of memorizing Al-Qur'an at MAN 2 Palembang. The type qualitative writing approach used in this uses a descriptive approach, meaning that data collected is not form numbers but instead interview scripts, field notes, and pictures. authors use collection methods like observation, interviews, documentation obtain accurate data. analysis by writer reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing. Based on results research conducted, it known memorization activities Palembang quite good, which reflected indicators 1) process adjusted abilities students; 2) good terms material; 3) method, so does become psychological burden for students during carried out completion. Supporting factors Qur'an Palembang, namely Physical awards or certificates given when they complete their memorization; facilities, such as MP3 murotal, cards, others; 4) maximum attention from teacher facilities provided school are adequate. While inhibiting students' laziness; little time deposit school; lack parents supervise student influence less supportive environment.
